Honorary Members and Golden Badge Holders

At the meeting of the Senior Council on November 21, 1947, it was unanimously decided to nominate Adolf Arntsen for the club’s Gold Badge. His outstanding work for the club, as well as his excellent sporting achievements, formed the basis for this decision. At the same meeting, the Council’s Recognition Trophy was awarded to Karsten Johannessen. His dedication to training and matches, together with his strong commitment to the club, were the reasons given.

In retrospect, it has become clear that the Council could hardly have found better candidates. And yet…
